DPPLR loves making fiction. As we tend to create short-form content, the annual 48 HOUR competion is right up our alley. This year’s entry, about a washed up superhero and his ambitious spindocter, features excellent performances by Esmarel Gasman, Frank Derijcke & Niels Gomperts. Written, shot and cut in 48 hours, STAALMAN managed to win the competition’s audience award (publieksprijs) and went on to be selected by festivals IMAGINE and NFTVM.
