Victoria Warmerdam

As a director and writer, Victoria loves to create comedy. Her driving force is the prejudice that women are supposedly much less funny than men. With her short films IK BEN GEEN ROBOT, KORTE KUITSPIER and SNORRIE, both starring Henry van Loon, she proves the contrary.

Victoria’s preference is to make commercials where humor and drama are perfectly balanced. “I am fascinated by the thin dividing line between drama and comedy. A joke often works best when it also hurts a little.”

Currently, she’s working on her debut feature film.
